As we approach the weekend, the weather forecast is showing very cold temperatures to commence this weekend and extend through next week with the brunt of the cold to come Sunday through Tuesday throughout Illinois and Missouri.

The City is notifying our customers that conserving energy is always recommended to help lower total gas costs. While we cannot control the price, we do have some control over the volume of energy used.  Please be reminded that conserving energy during the winter will always help lower total energy bills.  Setting your thermostat a few degrees lower, especially overnight, could help to conserve usage and lower your bill.
